Building fuel storage is one thing, having strategic reserves is another thing altogether. Just we have maize silos all over the country, find out how much maize reserves we have. Whilst filling maize silos does not require forex, filling up fuel tanks does. Are we going to borrow from the indians again to build up fuel reserve stocks?

Why not 25 million litres in each region. Why dont Malawi plan ahead, instead you will find after 10 years, a need to increase capacity arise in Mzuzu. Even the current capacity of our Hospitals, Colleges etc need to be increased because initially we didnt plan for the future
