It is a crime though the trafficked individuals may have been aware of the arrangement.

can somebody school me here,does human trafficking case hold even when the alleged trafficked people were voluntarily travelling and are adults.?

The facilitators assisted these unsuspecting (or maybe suspecting) individuals to enter another country without proper documents. If anything happens in SA the victims will have to face it by themselves. This scenario qualifies this case as human trafficking
