The Bible school which is located in Ntcheu district started in 2014 and these are the first graduands.

Speaking during the graduation ceremony, Dr. Gary Rieben who is also the President of the school, said he is happy to see about 70 students graduating from the institution.

“This is something worth celebrating as these are the first graduating students from our school,” said Dr. Rieben.

He further said the purpose of the Bible school is to shape strong spiritual leaders for the church of Malawi through a systematic study of the revelation of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Holy Scriptures for the glory of God and the joy of his people.

Rieben who comes from the United States of America told Nyasa Times that the Bible school will among other things help to produce godly men and women who have a passion to know Jesus Christ.

“They have learnt a lot and they now know how to rightly handle the Scriptures without fear,” Rieben said.

Officer In Charge of Ntcheu Police Mrs Chikondi Chingadza congratulated the graduating students for accepting Gods call to lead his flock.

“I know it’s not easy to serve God in this world with your own strength hence the need to always Gods guidance,” she said.

The Officer In Charge reminded the graduating students that they are now shepherds to Gods flock with various roles in society as well as church.

“You are leaders and you have to always lead by example. You should check your dressing, behavior, how you communicate, the way you talk and the way you associate with the people,” said Chingadza.

Chingadza appealed to the graduating students to work with every one as they are going into Gods vine yard.

“My appeal to them is they should be transparency with issues at their churches and at the same time they should be developmental conscious,” she said.

One of the graduating students, Pastor Anthony Francisco Moloseni commended the school for introducing a course in Biblical studies.

“Am no longer the same. I have learnt a lot of stuff at this school and let me thank Dr. Rieben for coming up with such good ideas to the people of Ntcheu,” said Pastor Moloseni.

Action Malawi School of the Bible started in 2014 with the aim of offering Biblical training to Pastors and Church leaders who live in the villages surrounding Ntcheu Boma.
