Airtel Malawi, DAPP seal K4.4m deal to train teachers

Airtel Malawi and Development Aid from People to People (DAPP) on Tuesday sealed a sponsorship deal of K4.4millio to train 10 primary school teachers for the next 3 years.

The teachers to access the funding are only those who are needy in training facilities run by the DAPP.

The training facilities are Chilangoma in Blantyre, Amalika in Thyolo, Dowa TCC and Mzimba.

“Airtel Malawi has decided to sponsor 10 primary school teachers to be trained at the various teachers training colleges run by DAPP, the total value of the sponsorship is K4.4million,”  disclosed Heiko Schlittke  the Airtel Managing Director.

DAPP National Partnership officer, Enock Juma  commended Airtel Malawi for the” timely support .”
