Alleluya band to celebrate 35 years of existence

Alleluya band will on November 9, 2013 cerebrate 35 years of existence.

According to Andiamo spokesperson, Patrick Bwanali, said the cerebration will be held under the theme “35 years of singing life and joy”.

“The band’s contribution to the industry in the country is beyond telling. If people are able to listen to old Malawi’s music, it is Alleluya Band that started to put music in cassettes.

“People still love our old music as is evidenced by the large turn outs in the shows we have organized with Paul Banda,” said Bwanali.

He added: “Similarly, you cannot talk of music in Malawi without mentioning Alleluya Band. This is so because many of the top quality musicians we have in the country, the likes of Lucius Banda are our products.”
