Moen is scheduled to perform on both Saturday and Sunday at the evangelist effort aimed at fostering unity, hope and love.

He arrived at Kamuzu International Airport on board South African Airways with his six piece band.

“Its my first time to be here but its very beautiful country,”  he said.

“I usually don’t travel with my band. It costs a lot of money to bring a band.  But I have come with full band which is a blessing to Malawi and I am looking forward to the event,” he said in an interview.

He added: “It is good to be in Malawi, warm reception and beautiful people. I am looking forward to a great weekend.”

Moen will be joined by a number of local and international artists including US’ Dave Lubben as well as KBG Soldiers, Great Angels, KBG, Faith Mussa, Suffix, and the Love Malawi Choir.

True Humble man of God, his music is Holy Spirit Inspired and very touching, no wild dancing, no imitation. I love this man of God, I pray that he must at least arrange to visit Malawi on His own to bless us with His music

I admire Don Moen and Michael W Smith because of their inspiring music coming from the heart, composed and written by the Holy Spirit and finally recorded by our Lord Jesus Christ and always sung by the Host of heavenly angels from high above. In the past we had such truly gospel singers as Kenson Mbwana and Chimwemwe Chikusa, Mustard Seed Band, ……..Duet of Thomas Banda, Paradise Network Singers just to name a few. To the self-acclaimed Malawian gospel singers: please be available at the event to see and learn for yourselves the differences between gospel music and secular-gospel music.

i like your comment. It is true that those involved in singing gospel music should learn between secular gospel music and the music that is inspired by the Holy Spirit let us remember that Jesus Christ said when the Holy Spirit the Counselor will come will teach you all things and one of the things is spiritual gospel music. Thanks for your comment.

It is not true that the music is composed and written by the Holy Spirit or recorded by Jesus etc. It may sound cool but since this is not true, it is a lie; and lying is a sin.
You could have said, you admire these guys coz when they sing, the sound of their music is like that done by the Holy Spirit etc. Otherwise, we run the risk of fulfilling some mad man’s talk that, “To see by faith is to shut the eye of reason.” – Benjamin Franklin

Kikkkkkkkk! Kodi secular gospel music? Sha!
The list should also include Come to Jesus Choir that was composed of people like Victor Mbewe, the list should also talk about Wycliff Chimwendo, Rev Muwalo of Zambezi Evangelical osati zimene timaonazi. It’s not surprising nowadays kupita ku ma show a ‘gospel’ kukapeza zibwenzi zokha zokha. It’s indeed secular gospel music.
Welcome Pastor Don Moen
