Congratulations Andy for the appointment. I am proud of you as your former classmate at Poly. May I request that we, the Poly BAcc class that finished in 1995 should come up with a register of each one of us, indicating where each one is, (this will be updated whenever there are changes) their position, etc so that we may be encouraging one another. This will enable us to have more CEOs from our class! May I propose the following people who may help champion this, Geobra Kamanga, Gift Mtileni, Tionge Kaluwa, Joyce Masamba Chithira, Eliam Chinkhokwe Banda and Lawson Nakoma.

So are you trying to say he is from that tribe or belt? What do you call it? Let us know here. By the way when making these public appointments why don’t they say Board so so so Chair Man B from Goliati, members A from Mchinji, 2 from Dowa 3 from Mangochi 4 from Chilumba 5 from Mzuzu 7 8 9 and ten from Phalombe, Kikikikiki Mxiiii!!!!

    2. citizen says:

it doesnt mean he’ll be operating the machines himself, there are people hired for that. he is just CEO.

    3. Nyapapi says:

I think you are a very malicious person who will obviously amount to nothing! What Malswitch needs is a good manager like this one not an engineer for a manager!

      Look at ESCOM!

      Congrats Andrew Michael Kamkwalala!

      1. Kabilaboza says:

You are confusing things here, Engineering is a profession while management is a skill. An engineer can equally be a good manager if he has got management skills. Engineers sit in the same MBA class with all other professionals. Is Godwin Kalumbu Phiri an engineer? He is an Accountant but he failed miserably as CEO of Malswitch.

And why are Malawian companies run by so called non engineers struggling?

  19. MG1 says:
