Another accident in Dedza, two killed
Barely a day after a vehicle hit two people to death in Dedza, Police deputy publicist in the district constable Cassim Manda has confirmed of yet another road traffic accident.
Constable Manda identified the victim as Talandira Ezra of Mbewe village in the area of traditional authority Kayembe in Dowa district and was said that was hit to death by motor vehicle registration number CK 748, a Nissan hard body driven by Mr Palane Rambo.
According to Manda, the accident occurred at Kalinyeke trading centre when deceased was trying to cross the road from the left to the right side where his grandmother Mrs Lyness Chiponda, 48 was moving on the right edge of the road.
Due to the impact Mrs Lyness Chaponda who carried a baby on her back sustained multiple fractures on her right leg while the baby Wisdom Bvumbwe on her back sustained bruises on his face.
