Gregory  Madeya has resigned from Nyasa Big Bullets board of trustees  becoming the second  trusteee to quit  in what seems like a mass desertion.

Madeya quits Bullets trustees board

“It is with regret that I inform you that I have decided to resign from the board of trustees,” reas a letter of resignation from Madeya to the club.

Madeya, who was also  chair of the club’s electoral committee, has quit after James Busile also resigned from his post as Bullets Board of Trustees Chairperson .

The development follows  f  the resolution of the supporters and the trustees over the weekend in Lilongwe  to hold Executive Committee elections on March 18 and also scrap off Treasurer and General Secretary’s positions.

Madeya said he made the decision to quit in his personal capacity and that he has pressure of work as “ I am engaged in personal businesses to run hence  no much time to dedicate to theteam.”

Former Bullets Supporters Committee treasurer, Bruce Tambwali, has disclosed that some sections of the Bullets supporters are seeking legal action to stop the March 18 elections.

Former Bullets chairperson, Kondie Msungama, who is also interested in challenging the incumbent Chairperson, Noel Lipipa, said the constitution has been raped and he would not  contest “ a rubber stamp” polls.
