Zimba has however urged the entire faith community to join hands and intensify prayers for the Lord to have mercy towards the Malawi nation.

The prayers come at a time over 6 million Malawians are experiencing acute food shortage and facing serious economic challenges.

The Apostle told Nyasa Times that the prayers will be held on 20  November, 2016 at the Cathedral of Signs and Wonders which is located behind Chipasula Secondary School in Lilongwe.

“There will be several activities happening that include special prayers praying for the nation to have good rains and bumper yields. On this speacial day, we will also pray for people of Malawi to be blessed in possessions, money, healing and deliverance,” said Apostle Zimba.

He said the main scripture for the special prayers comes from John 10:10.

He therefore called upon all Malawians experiencing various range of challenges to ‘come on this day to experience wonders and get answers for their problems’.

“It will be like you are dreaming what the Lord will do for you” said Zimba who is the General Overseer and Founder of Jesus Centred Church.

The Church was founded on 2nd January, 1992 and according to the Apostle, it has more than 30 branches across the country.

They have prayer points in Blantyre, Mulanje, Mzuzu, Mzimba, Kasungu, Lilongwe among others.
