Atupele weds in colourful ceremony: Malawi presidential hopeful
It was the most eagerly awaited wedding. The marriage of Atupele Muluzi, the 35-year-old opposition UDF presidential candidate and Angella Zachepa, now Mrs Muluzi, could not have been more beautiful or, surprisingly, more intimate.
Atuple wed Angella at an Islamic Nikka ceremony attended by the presidential hopeful’s father, former president Bakili Muluzi among many diginitaries in Machinga on Saturday
The Nikah process makes both the man and woman legal for each other as husband and wife.
Thousands of people from all walks of life attended a party that followed the ceremony.
