From now on wards act as professionals highly educated. What type of role models are you to the students? And mind you your performance in terms of handling of your teaching, the way you handle students’ examinations zimadabwitsa kuti mayeso anu amapita ku Senate yake ya UNIMA yomweyi? I will blow a whistle one day muzaona polekela. Heads and Deans please monitor these so called lecturers teaching and marking of the examinations it is not up to the expected standard. Otherwise you don’t even deserve this salary increase.

Poly lecturers must find ways to help university make more money through grants, collaborations with other institutions, research laboratories etc instead of just asking for pay increases from poor Malawians taxes and student tuition.

As one of the parents with a Child at Poly, I say thanks. Next time find ways of targeting School Management with your grievances which should not affect our Kids and us as parents. We want them to finish School in time so that we can focus on other issues.

During these academicians strike let the government completely close the college not to allow even those on part time or private use the facility because that is what makes them able to strike as there is money from these students. When the academicians r striking they shud sit out not enter college premises.
Concerned parent akunyada coz ana awo akiphunzira kunja mako lo of students at poly lets form an association! !!

It’s unfortunate when Poly students have to be put through the wringer like this.
Selfish Poly academics, who are really glorified secondary or high school teachers. If they argue against this statement, them let them try plying their trades outside the Malawi. Many will be returning, pathetically and very quickly.
Why should it take six years to get a degree at Poly, instead of four?
Anthu achabeachabe awa baasi (maximum greed and conceit here.)

I wonder if anybody knows how heartbroken we (as Parents) are always, when this College known as POLY closes for these strikes. The money spent on unattended classes, accommodation food etc. May God talk to you to be considerate.
