As mentioned in the article, there is Kankao Health Centre within the area which belongs to CHAM (Christian Health Association of Malawi), and the MP has sourced some funds for another Health Centre. This is good news, but is she aware that the Malawi Gvt and CHAM in the 1970s signed an MOU which states that the MW Govt can not build any Health Facility within a Catchment Area of a CHAM Health Facility. It is this MOU which is victimizing Communities around these CHAM Facilities, whereby they have to pay for Health Services, yet their friends are getting them… Read more »

If Malawi had just 20% of its MPs like this one…. 15% of its ministers like this one, and the Presidents who think about giving to the nation and not Grabbing from the poor cow, I tell you the Mother Malawi could not be sickly as it is.
