Netball giants in the Rainbow Paints Southern Region League on Saturday preyed on minnows.
In the first game, Kukoma Diamonds pruned Prison Sisters 87-18 in a one-sided affair played at Blantyre Youth Centre.
The attacking talent of Kukoma meant the girls scored from all over the circle with fantastic accuracy.
A show of incredible strength and resilience from the Griffin Saenda girls looked to have finally
gained them control of the match as they stretched their advantage over the dis~jointed Prison side which lacked sparks in the shooting department.
In another fixture, Thunder Queens were unstoppable in their 76~21 victory against Shizaella.
Fantastic captain Joana Kachilika led her colleagues in this victory with the assistance of Thandiwe Galeta.
Thunder Queens, which has no sponsorship after the departure of MTL Malawi Limited Company was a marvel to watch as they dominated in each and every department.
In another match, Cup holders Tigresses were on cloud nine as they cliped Chitakale 135~23.
As usual Sindi Simitowe’s name was all over as she netted most of the baskets.
Simutowe combined well with the likes of Beatrice Mpinganjira.
In other games, Gerald Tasaukadala beat Chitakale Sisters 45-33,while Young Proffesionals lost to Chilomoni Sisters 37-57.
Southern Region netball League general secretary Anne Hanjahanja said so far so good in the third week of the League.
