Billy Kaunda on live gigs break – report
Musician-cum-politician Billy Kaunda has taken a break on live music performance so that he can spend more time with his family, according to what he told the press.
Kaunda of Mwapinduranji fame , who lost a parliamentray seat in Mzimba West constituency, said he presently wants to spend time with his family and run his businesses.
“I have given myself a break in music so that I can spend more time with my family,” Kaunda is quoted in The Nation daily newspaper.
“I also want to have more time concentrating on my businesses. So, I can’t manage to start live shows now although I am no longer in Parliament,” said Kaunda, who owns Armageddon Band.
Kaunda said after releasing an album last December last year, he will give himself time before releasing another album.
