Last time Kabuzi and Zizwa blessed the people with a studio release, we got “Ngalawa” featuring the Daredevilz, which was followed by a remix which featured Piksy, Armstrong, Trumel and Sigidi.

Why should anyone care? These guys are washed up. Think again.

The conscious hip-hop duo this week released first single off the “Green Album” titled ‘Ogode’. They had been postponing it but finally it’s here.

The Lo Budget Records production by the Daredevilz, has female reggae artist Sangie on it.

Keeping true to their style, Biriwiri fuses Ogode, a folk song popular among Malawi with the urban movement.

Nyasa Showbiz spoke to Zizwa, one member Biriwiri on the status quo of the “Green Album” which was shelved last year leaving fans in limbo.

“We are 75 percent through,” he said while revealing the record drops this year. “We want to raise the bar on this album release.”
