GOOD NEWS BUT I THOUGHT WE ALSO NEED A RECREATION FACILITY. IHAVE IN MIND A RECREATION PARK. GO TO MAPUTO IN MOZAMBIQUE AND VISIT THEIR OLD TOWN, THEY HAVE A NICE RECREATION FAILICITY. BRING THE “LONDON EYES” LIKE FACILITIES TO MALAWI. AGAIN, BCC SHOULD CONSIDER BUYING THE LAND BETWEEN BT CBD AND MBAYANI AND PUT IT UP FOR GRABS FOR BUILDING STATE OF THE ART INFRASTRUCTURE. YOU CAN ALSO TALK TO MANDALA GUYS. THEY HAVE TOO MUCH IDLE LAND. DEVELOP VERY WIDE DUAL CARRIAGE ROADS IN THESE AREAS AND RESELL TO DEVELOPERS.UKUMVA IWE CHALAMANDA? YOU ARE OUR LAST HOPE.

What Blantyre needs is a big chunk of land for a well planned new town. The new town shud hav big plots for shopping malls, recreation areas like parks, wide vehicle and pedestrian streets, residential flats, etc. Blantyre and Limbe are old towns and there’s very little room for development. In fact if Malawians were visionary enough the whole Blantyre which by the way is already one of the smallest districts in the country shud hav been declared a planned metro district.
