The wheels are most defiantly still attached to the wagon. The cops are campaigning hard to have their team name printed on the prestigious trophy at the end of the season.

It is the biggest victory and indeed the heaviest loss recorded by any team in the first round of the season.

In a match on Wednesday, Maxwell Salambula scored a hat-trick and there were goals each from Stuart Mbunge, Gilbert Chirwa, and Chisomo Chilasa to register an emphatic win.

Whatever it is for Blue Eagles, the dream goes on.

Blue Eagles are now leage leaders  at the end of first round with 32 points and they are followed by Silver Strikers on position 2 with 29 points from 15 matches whereas Mafco have finished the first round on position 3 with 28 points.

The league leaders have registred 10 wins, drawn 3 times and have registered 3 defeats.

Silver Strikers have registered 9 wins, 4 defeats and 3 draws in this season’s Tnm Super League first round.

Moyale Barracks are on position 4 with 27 points and defending champions Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Be Forward Wanderers are languishing  on fifth and sixth  position respectively with  24 points and have  a game to wrap up their first round games.

MTV Max Bullets, Dwangwa United, and Karonga United are at the bottom of the table.
