According to international media reports, the singer believes it would be wonderful to give a disadvantaged youngster from the African nation a new start in America.

The UK Daily Mail reported that Britney appears to be getting some encouragement from her friend Madonna, who has two adopted children, David and Mercy.

“She’s considering adopting a little girl from Malawi,” a source told The National Enquirer, adding that she and Madonna have ‘discussed the process on several occasions.

Britney, who has remained single since divorcing her children’s father Kevin Federline almost a decade ago, is yearning for a daughter and believes adoption is the way to go.

Britney Spears is already a mother to two fast-growing boys, Sean, 10, and Jayden, nine.

Spears’s first and second studio albums 1999’s “Baby One More Time” and 2000’s “Oops!… I Did It Again”, became international successes, with the former becoming the best-selling album by a teenage solo artist.

Title tracks “Baby One More Time” and “Oops!… I Did It Again” broke international sales records.

She is currently in the studio working on a new album which has not been titled yet. Britney told V Magazine‘s Spring 2016 issue. “It’s not what you would think at all. But I’m not rushing anything.

“I just want it to be done right, so that my fans will truly appreciate it. I would much rather have it be completely how I want it to be, whether that takes another year for me to do, or two months. I have no idea at this point.”

If the rumours are true, Britney will be the second pop superstar to adopt Malawian children following Madonna’s David Banda and Mercy James adoption in 2006 and 2009 respectively.

It is good to adopt a baby girl here since many girls are being abused in many ways. I hope it will be a chance for her to attain her dream being educated.
