BT United down Mafco, Thindwa bags hat-trick: Malawi TNM Super League

Ishmael Thindwa bagged a hat trick on Saturday as Epac FC opened its second round TNM Super League with a 4-2 win against Mponela United.

Aiming for a better finish in the elite league, Epac outplayed Mponela with Thindwa leading the onslaught.

Frazer Menyani claimed a brace for the losers.

In Nchalo, Blantyre United beat Mafco with a lone goal from Sparrow Msowoya.

In Lilongwe, Silver Strikers maintained a clean sheet under new coach Stain Chirwa when they were held to a goalless draw by Moyale.

The Bankers are second on 29 points whereas Moyale are sixth on 27 points.
