The 20-track mixtape, Bucci’s debut, is scheduled for release on 27 February. It brings together the finest vocal features and productions.

The Nde’feyo Music artist has worked with exciting names that include Daredevilz, Sangie, Home Grown African, members of the group Classmates and Street Fame.

Worth the Wait boasts of productions from the Daredevilz, Tricky Beatz, Yesaya, Black Eye and Nde’feyo Music in-house producer Gaffer.

“It is an exciting lineup as you can see. I wanted the best on this project because the best is what I want to give my fans,” the singer told Nyasa Showbiz as he disclosed he also produced some tracks on the mixtape.

Bucci will be releasing the mixtape as he works on a full album expected to be out this year.

He has been releasing singles since his surfacing on the scene.

According to his label, Worth the Wait, as the title suggests, is not about creating anticipation for his upcoming album.

“It is more about a futuristic twisted concept about life as a journey in general.  Life throws roses and thorns at us all as human beings.

“Every person has a 50-50 chance of success or failure. So, life is basically waiting for our arrival based on the odds,” explained Nde’feyo marketing executive Funwayo Mhango.

He added: “Thereby the mixtape focuses on motivating everyone to make that wait worth it. It contains breathtaking R&B, afro pop and a feel of house/dancehall music that will keep fans off their feet everywhere. The vibe appeals to both young and old people”.

Nde’feyo on Monday dropped the first track off the mixtape, titled MCM and you can download it here: http://www.malawi-music.com/B/351-bucci/1369-mcm/3703-mcm.

The label has since scheduled three more tracks to be released ahead of the mixtape launch at Bassment Club in Blantyre on the afternoon of February 27.

“We will be putting out a new single every Friday for the next three weeks,” revealed the stable’s marketing executive Funwayo Mhango. “The next track on the list is Dinero, which will be followed by Don’t Be Late then Kadigong’o”.
