Bucci, Lilia to feature on Jaxstar’s ‘Not the only one’ cover
R&B crooners Bucci and Lilia have confirmed their guest appearances on Jaxstar’s new hit single “Not the only one” cover version.
The single which was produced by Blantyre based rising producer Black Eye is currently enjoying airplay on local radio stations and accumulating an impressive number of downloads on all major downloading sites.
Speaking in an interview on Monday, Jaxstar said the two artists were selected based on authenticity and creativity.
“The two artists are all unique in their own way. These are the only artists who are doing pure R&B,” disclosed the rapper adding that both Lilia and Bucci stand out among Malawian R&B artists.
He further disclosed that the cover version has been done in acoustic to give the song a different feel.
In her remarks, Lilia said she was honoured to be featured on the song.
“This is something new to Malawi. It is a ground breaking promo that artists should emulate,” explained the Lilongwe based songstress.
“You are not the only one” is Jaxstar’s second single off the yet to be released “Not for your ears” EP.
According to the rapper, the cover version will be released after the Ron CZ directed music video scheduled for June end release.
