Their rivals Be Forward Wanderers and Lilongwe based giants Silver Striker are coming second and third with over K1.4 million and K236,810, respectively.

This was known during the second draw of the promotion on Thursday in Blantyre, where the People’s Team support and Ndirande based Charles Kwilombe won the grand monthly prize of K200,000

Other participants won Y221 handsets, Flames replica jerseys and TNM K5000 and K2500 recharge vouchers.

During the first draw, Bullets earned K1.47 after amassing 39,023 hits while the Wanderers, also known as Nomads, earned K991,445 from 26,688 hits. The Bankers (Silver Strikers) came third with 3,150 hits which earned them K118,440.

While in the second month, covering 14 July through to 12 August 2015, the People’s amassed 78,201 hits, earning them K2,737,035; Wanderers K1,429,295 from 40,837 hits while Silver Strikers earned K236,819 from 6,766 hits.

Rookies Dedza Young Soccer are fourth on the list having amassed 507 hits, translating to K17,745 revenue.

“We have seen tremendous increase in terms of revenue this month and it is very exciting to see new comers Dedza Young Soccer coming fourth on the list.

“Last month Bullets earned K1.47 million, Wanderers K991,445, but this time around the figures slightly higher and we hope fans will continue to participate in the promotion to help their teams,” TNM Public Relations Manager Limbani Nsapato.

He also reiterated that the first team to hit 300,00 SMS count will get K1.5 million from the super league sponsors.

So far, the promotion has accumulatively raised about K7 million (two months of the promotion).

Accumulatively, FIZD Wizards have the lowest hits (173).

TNM rolled out Sapota Mapeto to give football fans an opportunity to help their teams financially, as some share from the SMS proceeds are given to the clubs.

“This is the only platform football followers can render their support to their clubs, and this best time to connect and support your favourite club in the TNM Super League.

“We believe, Our Players, Our Heroes, Our Pride, can only be taken care of and enjoy the game if we all join hands and be part of this exciting promotion,” said Nsapato.

To enter the promotion, each supporter is supposed to SMS a team code to 1515 (using TNM line) to register on the database of their team. The SMS costs K50 and K35 goes to the fan’s team.

Apart from monthly prizes for participants, two football fans with the highest entries will be given 40 inch Samsung TVs each.
