Bullets paired with Silver in FISD Cup
Blantyre based giants Nyasa Big Bullets have been paired against central giants Silver Strikers in the K45m FISD Challenge Cup following the draw held today Octobet 6, 2016 at Zodiac Broadcasting Television station in Lilongwe.
The draw has also seen Carlsbeg Cup champs Might Be Forward Wanderes paired against Chipiku Central Region Football Association division one side Lake Valley FC from Ntcheu with the winner scheduled to meet Zolozolo Dwangwa Town Hammers in the quarterfinals.
The round of 16 draw has also set up exciting capital city derbies involving Blue Eagles and Civo as well as Epac versus Kamuzu Barracks.
Speaking during the draw, which was live on the ZBS television station, Fisd executive director Moses Chirambo said the sponsors were looking forward to exciting matches from the round of 16 up to the final.
“We are impressed with the way the draw has been conducted. There were representatives from some of the teams and nobody has complained.
“We are looking forward to exciting games from the round of sixteen up to the final.”
Fam competitions manager Gomezyani Zakazaka also expressed satisfation with the draw.
“I am very satisfied. One pleasing thing about the draw is that three teams from the lower leagues are guaranteed places in the quarterfinal.
“The other exciting aspect is the pairing of giants Big Bullets and Silvers,” said Zakazaka.

There is nothing suspicious here. When you join these competition get prepared to meet any team. Mukuopa Silver kapena? Then why joining? Wanderers will meet one of these so called big teams any time as long there are still in the competition. Blue Eagles/Civo are not complaining, why always you neba?
