Bullets players promised bonuses if they beat Silver: Malawi Super League

Big Bullets players have been promised a special package if they win TNM Super League encounter with Silver Strikers on Sunday at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.

Bullets Chairman Malinda Chinyama told Nyasa Times that they players should expect a 50 percent bonus as they did it when they managed to beat Mighty Wanderers 3-0 in the same League some weeks ago.

That means if they will manage to collect three points against the Bankers, each player will receive K15, 000 with an increase of K5, 000.

“We are taking each remaining game as a final match. Let me assure our players that if they will beat Silver Strikers on Sunday, they will smile all the way to the bank to collect a bonus,” said Malinda.

An inform Bullets is currently basking on the third slot with 42 points from 22 games with the maximum points of 60 if they will win all their remaining matches.

The Bankers, who are occupying the second position with 43 points from 20 games, have a better maximum of points of 67 if they will secure three points in all their remaining
games.

Preparations

In readiness of the  commercial and capital city encounter, both sides were engaged with friendly matches on Sunday with the Blantyre based out-fit securing victory against Azam Tigers while the capital city giants stumbled to little known Kasungu Medicals.

Bullets won 2-1 to Tigers at Kamuzu Stadium with a brace from their wonder boy Gabadigho Mhango while a brace from Aaron Tembo was enough for Kasungu Medicals to sink the Bankers.

The title campaign

As the elite league enters almost final stages, Blantyre United is still clinging on the summit table with 45 points from 23 games with the Bankers conimg second  having accumulated 43 points from 20 games.

On the third slot is Big Bullets, who have amassed 42 points from 22 games followed by their city rivals Mighty Wanderers with 38 points from 23 games.

Another fierce battle for crucial points will take place in the capital. At Nankhaka Stadium Blantyre United will face Blue Eagles on Saturday and Sunday the league leaders will face Kamuzu Barracks at Civo Stadium.
