Lipipa confirmed on Friday about stepping down, citing “differences” with the club chairman Sam Chilunga.

The resignation of Lipipa follows demands by players and supporters that he should step down together with  general secretary  Titha Mandiza, vice treasure Alex Gondwe and vice chairman Sadik Malinga.

Lipipa said “it makes sense for me to go.”

He added: “ It has become clear that the football administration has taken a different agenda in the club so it make sense for me to go.”
