Gondolosi demand high on Malawi website shop
Malawi’s only online store is being flooded with special requests for items such as Gondolosi (herbal aphrodisiac), Mikanda (waist beads) and Kondaine (love potion concoctions).
Other hot items being requested are Kamba Puffs from Universal Industries, Marie’s Hot sauce, Nali, Malawi Gin and Brandy, an official from the online store told Nyasa Times.
The majority of men are calling-in to make requests for the aphrodisiacs such as Gondolosi used for sex performance enhancing drug and women are calling for Mikanda in the flag colours Black, Red and Green for sexual provocation and turning on of men.
Orders have come in from many parts of the United States as well as the UK, Canada, South America and Dubai, according to the online store official.
“The customers are Malawians as well as non-who lived in Malawi at one time or another,” she said.
The online store www.treatsfrommalawi.com will soon be providing other services such as bill payments and purchasing of airtime using the site, disclosed the official.
Customers will also be able to buy grocery/salon vouchers for loved ones back in Malawi through the website.
