Football Association of Malawi (FAM)  said it will announce the final determination on  the disciplinary case involving midfielder Jaffalie Chande, Mighty Be Forward Wanderers and Nyasa Big Bullets by Sunday.

Chande dumped Bullets to join Wanderers but Super League of Malawi (Sulom) stopped Wanderers from using Chande until his transfer dispute with Nyasa Big Bullets is resolved.

FAM secretary general Suzgho Nyirenda disclosed that the disciplinary committee will meet on Saturday in Blantyre and they will have “a final say.”

Nyirenda said the committee’s determination should be ready “latest by Sunday.”

Chande’s transfer has been controversial and the player received death threaths from Bullets .

He went to court to seek protection by sueing Nyasa Big Bullets officials and supporters of harassment.

Meanwhile, the High Court in Blantyre  adjourned the case because one of the defendants, Isaac Norman, is outside the country.

The other defendants are supporters committee chairperson Stone Mwamadi and technical director Billy Tewesa.
