The president and his vice have updated their records but Chaponda can’t be arsed! Who does he think he is. A destroyer of the stupid federation or what?

Green Muheya, what do you mean by saying “Chaponda a Lawyer by training”? Are there other people who become Lawyers through other means without training? This is poor construction of a sentence in English. If you simply said Chaponda who is a Lawyer.. bla bla bla every reader would have understood it more clearly. Which literature books did you read when you were in secondary school? I don’t want to talk about college, because your writing style and level of English reveals that you never went to college.

‘This is poor construction of a sentence in English’ ….I also find this not academic writing. Probably if you could put it this way: this is poor English sentence construction.

“Lawyer/Doctor/whatever profession by training” is a commonly used phrase to describe someone’s formal training (especially where their current profession differs to that of their previous one). Nothing wrong with the English here. Here’s an example used by the BBC: https://www.englishforums.com/English/ByProfessionOrByTraining/bwnjk/post.htm
