The former Azam Tigers, Silver Strikers and Mighty Wanderers nimblefooted leftback struggled to break into the starting line up forcing him to have limited game time.

Chavula confirmed of his loan deal to the new club.

“Yes I can confirm that I will be playing for ENH FC this season and I have settled down well here. I played 90 minutes last weekend and it was a good game. I never had enough game at Costal and I hope this would be a good season for me,” said the media friendly Chavula.

The baby-faced Chavula, who turned to Mozambique after a long spell in South Africa, still has a running contract with Costal up to December.

“I still have a contract with Costal but ENH officials told me that they want me on a permament deal. I am ready to stay here because the club has shown interst to keep me for more years,’ he said.

At the peak of his career Chavula played for Nathi Lions in South Africa in 2008 before joining Amazulu in 2011.

He also struggled for game time at Amazulu and returned home to join Wanderers before clinching a deal in Mozambique at Costal do Sol.

This guy is not a good player at all. Every time he is playing for the flames, all he does is boot the ball forward. He has no other skill apart from that, I am not surprised that he is finding it hard to forge a professional career.

What is wrong with Malawian footballers? Always warming the bench? This is showing that our football standard is very low.
