Speaking when making the donation, the company’s Corporate Affairs Manager, Wise Chauluka said they made the donation after seeing the plight of flood victims in the district.

“As Chibuku Products Limited, we assessed the condition of living of people affected by floods in the flood affected districts and we found that their condition of living was appalling. Among the districts Mangochi was one of them.  At CPL we have corporate social responsibility that aims at taking care of lives of people who are in dire need, displaced and plagued.

“And this donation is exactly in tandem with our core responsibility and to alleviate the suffering of those affected by the
catastrophe,” said Chauluka.

“We will continue doing the same in the flood affected districts and hope the items will go a long way in alleviating the suffering of the affected people,” he added.

Speaking on behalf of Mangochi District Commissioner, Bissaih Mtayamanja who is the District’s Principal AdministratIion Officer
hailed the Company for remembering and sparing time to visit the district, saying their support will help to rescue the suffering of
flood victims in the district.

While assuring the company’s his total commitment of monitoring the items to reach the intended beneficiaries, Mtayamanja also appealed to well-wishers to emulate Chibuku’s kind gesture, saying there are more flood victims in the district who still need help.

Chibuku are a savage of a company but most people don’t know. They try to make a rosy cooperative image but deep down they are savages. They mistreat their workers better tea estates. They pushed aside Chauluka from being an HRM coz he couldn’t allow to be a puppet of Bowler and replaced him with this thin woman Gloria Zimba. Its full of savages headed by Gerrard Bowler wopanga madzi a poison uja. He is a god at chibuku, whatever he decides, it happens. He is savagely. Ka Gloria Zimba ka certificate ka human resources koma kutumbwa kahule kameneka ngati mwina kali ndi ka degree. Kumangochotsa anthu osalakwa ntchito including innocent graduates coz she’s a shear puppet. She doesn’t have anything in her head I pity her. I implore Ministry of labor to search this company on how it exploits its workers. Even mbale wanu atasauka bwanji, pilizi bola kukayamba kwa mulli. A Chauluka pano zomwe amachita kukagawa njere za mapira etc. And Chimera Beverages, where are you?? Munayamba bwinotu koma you are cooling off now. Please grow, we need competition in this country, don’t allow these chibuku sabmiller brutes to monopolize. I’m tired of handling cases of workers complaining of unfair dismissal at chibuku
