Judge Esme Chombo granted the injunction on May 3 which virtually stopped Aleke Kadzakusa who is Sub TA Mbonekera and Alfred Chamsane who is Sub TA Matapila from doing the chieftaincy job.

Senior Chief Dzoole alleges the two Sub TAs were causing problems and destabilising the Dzoole chieftaincy.

However, Sub TA Matapila hs dismissed the allegations.

The cause of the problem is the decision by the government to fire the two sub TAs on various allegations.

After they received the letter of termination of their services as sub TAs, they rushed to the High Court of Malawi in Lilongwe where they too obtained a court injunction restraining the government from dismissing them as traditional leaders.

Their case against the government is pending in court.
