CISANET to hold ‘Malawi at 50’ agriculture conference

CISANET, in conjunction with its partners and member organizations comprising NGOs, will hold a two-day 2014 national agriculture conference in Malawi’s administrative capital Lilongwe this week.

The conference whose theme is “Malawi Agriculture at 50: Towards a Common Vision for the Next 50 Years” will take place on July 30 and 31 at Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe.

“CISANET believes that as we are celebrating 50 years of independence, it is an opportune time for us to reflect and come up with workable solutions to challenges facing the agriculture sector today,” said Tamani Nkhono-Mvula, CISANET National Director.
