Coach Gadaga sacked at Blantyre United: ‘Sir’ Alex in
Blantyre United coach Mario Gadaga has been sacked following poor perfomance of the club in the elite TNM Super League.
The team’s technical director Lawson Nakoma has confirmed the firing of Gadaga.
Nakoma said the executive committee met on Monday where they agreed to part ways with Gadaga, who has been replaced with seasoned coach Alex Masanjala.
“I can confirm to you that we have indeed fired Mr Gadaga because of the team’s poor perfomance. Now our coach is Alex Masanjala,” said Nakoma.
Since the 2014 Soccer season kicked-off, Blantyre United have managed to draw one game with the rest four losses.
Before joining Blantyre United, Gadaga was coaching relegated Evirome FC.
Blantyre United lost Elijah Kananji,who is now Big Bullets mentor.
