Mutharika-Mulli: A Portrait of Cloak and Dagger?

image Mutharika:Anybody who thinks the President is having a goodnight's sleep must be dating Lucifer

Just you know: I have nothing to apologize to the DPP die hard, especially as I have had it in the neck from those who feel it is wrong to call a dog by its true nomenclature. So I will dole it out here in simple words as I have before: I have never been pro or anti Mutharika; I have always said that I would judge him on his time as president.

So far, what he is doing now is like a gynecologist giving enema to a pig.  I do not find it endearing.   Imagine, immediately we thought contentions of all-purpose sleaziness against his government, would make Mutharika behave like a principled Statesman, the situation could not get any worse.  I know there is jealousy and mockery between people of all political shades and insignia, but no true democrat can be in agreement with what is happening now.

It turns out Mutharika has brazenly conspired with the Mulli Brothers against the Malawi nation by engaging in delinquent insider trading with his fellow Lomwe thieves Edward Sawerengera and the treacherous Mulli brothers at the National Food Reserve Agency.

Nothing winds me up more than blemished and inconsistent leaders who think they are the best political fan boys to have graced this country with their inherent rottenness and their charlatan idiot followers.

No worries Malawians will kick Mutharika and his band of economic adulterers out of the State House in May next year.    That is the only consolation for now.  One thing though, they should never get too infatuated with this off the shelf madness for they are only dancing with the wolves.

Obviously, principle and honor is sadly thin on the ground in our country as members of government are now opting to operate like the Sicilian Mafia to enrich themselves through criminal means.

Do we have Al Capone, the famed mafia kingpin for president?   Why can’t these people simply hold their hands up and admit they called it wrong when they succumbed to the lures of personal aggrandizement by offering each other very huge and obscene trading contracts like the one the Mulli brothers and Mutharika used to swindle the NFRA by selling their maize at a very exorbitant price?

Whether Mutharika and his band of egregious carolers like it or not, they have no business monopolizing the maize trade in this country.  They should open up the market for all and sundry to benefit from it.

On the numerous occasions when, people have not voiced their reservations at the perfidious transactions in government out of fear, negligence and because they want to give the Mutharika’s enough rope to hang themselves with, the Mutharikas have always unwittingly obliged by sinking into the mud with a grotesque job of it.

Can those who think such unjustified preferential treatment is the biggest bull in the market, please stop paying us small? Try to credit us with some decent intelligence other than what you are trying to do by abusing our intellect with unholy contortions of the truth that are neither here nor there.

What I look for is the reality in any situation but I seem to have a problem getting that message over to some people, DPP nincompoops being the latest example. Most of them are ignorant and on the other hand are smug, condescending individuals just like the so-called Classic Moses.

However hard the Mutharika goons try, they cannot put a positive twirl to their barbaric acts.  The raging NFRA story has just begun and no threats will quell the negative publicity this story will generate.

A government on its last wheels and a President who is being hawked about by the worst vestiges of the human kind to fend off the Opposition onslaught at the ballot box in May 2009 is what is on show today.

Anybody who thinks that Mutharika is having a goodnight’s sleep must be dating Lucifer.  For the man knows that without his ebullient underwriter, Dr. Bakili Muluzi, he cannot campaign for a win.

The DPP is a disgrace to civilization. I wonder if Malawians; would offer the same sanctuary to Nazi war criminals?   That offered: the fact that there is no public outcry against such underhand activities and the gates are just up a tad, as some people are waxing lyrical about Mutharika’s scams suggests that Malawians have been turned into toady aliens in their own country as Mutharika and his extortionists are busy pillaging the economy.

We will be back with our good will when Mutharika is gone out of power and deprived of the vulgar opulence he is wallowing in. That day is drawing ever closer.

In addition, if that means waiting for the next nine months, well, we have been there before.  It is worth the wait.   Not many of us saw it coming, but I did and said so.  It is not a claim; it is a bound to happen fact, as a nose through the political archives of this country proves the fact that Dr. Akimu Kankhwala Kamuzu Hastings Banda did a similar hack job on Malawians.

Terry Pratchett, writing in his masterpiece, Feet of Clay, said the following: “Royalty was like dandelions. No matter how many heads you chopped off, the roots were still there underground, waiting to spring up again.  It seemed to be a chronic disease. It was as if even the most intelligent person had this little blank spot in their heads where someone had written: ‘Kings. What a good idea’. Whoever had created humanity had left in a major design flaw. It was its tendency to bend at the knees”.

Thus, some people will go to any extent to bend at the knees before the undeserving people lording over us today.  Some people, true, will do anything to please the pariahs in power.    Without infamy they will sing praises, lend a blind eye to the dreadful crimes being committed, offer a death ear to the cries of anguish as the innocent are tortured and interrogated in Malawi’s inhabitable police and prison cells.

All committed in the name of one man and one man alone.  Bingu Mutharika.  Stating the bleeding obvious?  I wonder! Eeeethyeee!

Nyakuchena, you are our Malawian Terry. This article is a master piece. Let the WarmHeart of Africa-Malawi know the underground truth about this walking ghost. The maize issue is really a central issue. The Press Release imposing that ADMARC should be the sole buyer and seller of maize in Malawi is a big gamble and killer punch to this government. Bingu as an incumbent president deserve respect but on this one he should have consulted enough. Donors are wondering what he is up to. The NFRA is always stocked by maize bought by donors and making such a sweeping statement makes them wonder how ADMARC is going to make it. Munthuyu tsapano mutu wake wanokola, May 9 akuyimva kununkha mu ubongo wake. Ofunika kumulonda bwino akazimangirire. Ine ndiye ndanena, okumva amve kuti ma donors akudabwa nayo nkhaniyi chifukwa iwo ndi amene amagulira dziko lino chimanga. Lets wait and see!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would you also find out about the Fuel contract (haulage) if it has been taken away from Zagaf and Gaffer Transport to Mulli B’*? * understand that’* the reason we are having fuel shortages now and then because the current do not have the capacity (enough trucks) as was the case with Zagaf and his brother Rashy.

* can'* leave this uncommented-* feel involving Mulli & his business in what is happening pertaining to what the state president has directed on maize sale is not doing a right thing-Leston Mulli(Mulli Bros Director)has been a very hardworking guy since his childhood-* know him as my childhood friend, doing our primary education together at Nyezelera fp xool, sharing the same desk as mulli & mbwana & * could then see the qualities of businessman in him as his late father(may his soul rest in peace) & mother were busy running the business-when leston accomplished his education, he joined hands with his parents and because of his hardworking spirit, he has managed to put the business where it is today-* remember interacting with him one time in the year 2000,he could drive his pick-up around ntchisi & Dowa-buying maize and this time Dr Muthalika wasn'* the president of this country-pliz let'* support the young man as he is focused to assist develop the country-go down to phalombe in the areas of nyezelera, khamula, chaasi, horo, muthuka, njaya, chingazi, natchenya, migowi, one may be amazed of how pipo sing praises about him, because of the development activities he is carrying out in the areas with the little he is earning from his business.and someone to write & * quote"trding with his lomwe thieves edward sawerengera and the treaherous mulii brothers at NFRA" isn' that insulting to tne lomwe tribe? it may be fine for someone to produce evidence that can indeed show that indeed lomwes are thieves other than just speculating when we see others doing fine-we're all malawians and let'* hold hands together and sing a song of unity for the betterment of our beloved country malawi
* am a pure lomwe and lomwes as a tribe,we don'* like promoting tribalism at any cost. GOD BLESS MALAWI-AMEN!!!!!!

most of them like Dr.Bingu wa Mutharika than Dr.Bakili Muluzi.

Let me agree with Aaron Mbwana the Mullis have been hard workers even during the governement of Muluzi. * also knew them in primary school, Nyezelera Primary School. Leston who is the manager of the company was a class ahead, Alex was my classmate and Felton who is an MP was behind me.The brothers grew up with the spirit of business and they are now developing Phalombe. Amalawi nsanje paja mukumusiya m'bale wanu Bakili ****** uja. Ngakhale asawine Binguyo in 2009 simudamuona akuwumilira pa mpando ngati ****** mzanu uja

The Mullis may be hardworkers but that does not mean they have not been corrupt before. Their association with Mutharika is largely contributing to their growing wealth. You can not deny that. And the favours they are getting from the President are criminal in nature. Secondly, palibe chizungu chovuta apa. Some of you are just lazy minds that'* all. Ganda we love you the way you are. Keep it up; Malawi'* Terry Pratchett for you are widely read all the time and you are the most talked about and in most cases in glowing terms. Regards: Trezzol, Jon, Widzy and Young Chimbende.

Ganda, just ask Tcheya, your master how hardworking the Mullis are. He knows them inside out. They have been rich and hardworking since before Mose came on the scene.

There are many more hardworking business people in Malawi who are not being favored by Bingu just because they are not crab eating Lomwes. Nobody disputes the fact that the Mullis are hardworking but they are also corrupt.

* am so much afraid that what is happening on this web is not all that constractive but rather destructive. my main worry is that you tend to attack people'* wewaknesses olny, why? dont you have constractive issues to be put on this web rather than daily attacking someone, whether politically or other factors, * feel that this awill not take us any where on this planet earth especially our caountry malawi. instead of forcasting on what to do so as to support the good thing that our friend is doing we try to pull him down so that no one should be seen to be accomplishing something. am not trying to be politically supporting someone but if only you can change your foscast to stiking to the truth it wil be to the benefit of the whole country rather than what is happening at this pointing time where its only about cristicising mr so and so.
