CR Beach Soccer Committee hunting for sponsors to partner Impakt Events

Central Region Beach Soccer Committee (CRBSC) has revealed that it is hunting for more individuals and companies to partner Impakt Events in sponsoring the Central Region Beach Soccer League.

Mwachande: Sponsors to partner Impakt

CRBSC General Secretary Allie Mwachande confirmed the reports.

Mwachande said they intend to kick-off the 2017 season in April.

“The 2017 season might start in April but at the mean time we are hunting for more interested individuals and companies to partner our sponsors Impakt Events which is owned by Honourable Lucius Banda” said Mwachande.

“Impakt Events through Honourbale Banda pledged continued sponsorship but we still need more funding to develop the game that is why we are looking for more partners,” Mwachande added.

Mwachande said he is hopeful that  something positive will come out before the commencement of the new season.

Impakt Events pumped in K500,000 and assisted CRBSC to raise another K500,000 to run the league through a fundraising musical show.

The league sponsorship last season was pegged at K1 Million and about 14 teams participated in the tournament.

Central Region Beach Soccer League which was dubbed ‘Sand Festival Beach Soccer League’ was the first regional league since beach soccer sport was introduced in Malawi in 2007.

In 2015, Malawi left a mark at the Cosafa Tournament after finishing as runners up.

Impakt Events Executive Director Banda said they feel good to be associated with the development of Beach Soccer in Malawi.
