Dedza Young Soccer struggling in Malawi’s 2nd tier league: Holy Cross at the summit, Tiyuni third

Dedza Young Soccer, who were relegated from Malawi’s top flight TNM Super League after their debut appearance last season, are struggling in the Chipiku Central Region Football Association (CRFA) in which they are on position nine  with 11 points behind the leaders Holy Cross Ambassadors.

Holy Cross Ambassadors lead the second tier Premier Division with 38 points from 19 games with just two games to wrap up the first round.

On second position with 36 points from 18 games are Support Battalion while Tiyuni United are third with 35 points from 19 games.

On 4th position are Masters Security Services on 34 oints from 16 games while Nambuma United are 5th also with 34 points but separated by goal difference.

The leaders Holy Cross Ambassadors travel to Pondamale to date bottom of the table (position 22) Warm Heart bullets on Thursday August 11 while 2nd-placed Support battalion date Dedza Young Soccer at Combat Support on Sunday, August 14.
