Afro-Pop artist, Delano has resurfaced on the music scene with his second single this year ‘Bwelera’, a song that centres on lost love.
Released on Wednesday Bwelera- a Pop-Folk tune- follows ‘Moyenda’ which was released earlier this year.
Produced by StichFray at D&T Records, Bwelera is about a man betrayed by his unfaithfulness. Driven by desires of the heart, he loses his beloved partner; and the loss resulted in more harm than charm.
“This is all about the pain one feels when they realize the true value of their lost love. It’s the pain of trying to make amends when all is too late,” explained Delano.
The composition and the song’s production clearly signify how seriouslyDelano took his time on the song.
Blended with guitars and soulful female voices, Delano’s magic in the song cannot be ignored, and it will be justifiable if many of his listeners are left with wet eyes- reminiscing of their lost love too- once they sample it out.
Delano born Maurice Nkawihe is an Afro-Pop & Dance singer whose songs derive from old school and modern Pop elements.
