This is the second All-White Party the company is hosting under the Chill Brand this year. It follows the first event at the Protea Ryalls Hotel in Blantyre where another big name in the South African music, DJ Sbu was the headliner.

Carlsberg Malawi senior brands manager (alcoholic beverages), Twikale Chirwa, said all was in place as the capital city fans keenly await to party with Xigubu smash hit maker.

“We are offering Chill consumers more and better experiences. The Chill White Party is an exclusive event for our executive consumers who enjoy Chill in their everyday drinking occasions,” said Chirwa.

He added: “We would like to delight our Chill consumers with a first-class Chill experience, that is the main objective of the Chill White Party as we continue positioning Chill as a premium brand.”

Tickets to the red carpet event are selling at K10,000 and they are in limited supply.

On the night, patrons will each receive five bottles of Carlsberg Chill upon entry and will also be treated to a cocktail.

DJ Ganyani is expected to be joined by his compatriot, DJ Stavo, as well as Malawi’s own, DJ Trick, the Chill DJ Battle 2016 winner.

Born Fredericks Tshabalala, DJ Ganyani is a founder and chief executive officer of Ganyani Entertainment, a focused music operation and equipment company that has an established urban and contemporary pop and house collection.

He has achieved renowned recognition and respect for his mixing flair at most of the hottest nightclubs, taverns, institutions, football matches involving national soccer teams and private gigs in and around the whole world; he has become a household name particularly amongst the youth not only in South Africa but in the SADC region.

DJ Ganyani has played alongside big names like, Little Louie Vega, Dj Tira, Vinnie, Glen Lewis, T-Boze, Aldrin Mokgotsi, Oskido and many others.

To-date, Ganyani has produced a total of more than 8 ‘hit’ albums; These albums include Ganyani House grooves 1 up to number 8 which is his latest offering. He also released the Family project’s First gathering album early last year.
