The pledge by head of the Al Heelam Group Nasher Latif was made at the end of a visit from Malawi business community headed by the Malawi Investment and Trade Council in Dubai where various opportunities of bilateral trade were discussed.

“We see great opportunity between both Markets, Al Heelam Group has been in the Malawi Market since the year 2000 and has seen many trade opportunities of which was not being explored, This meeting and visit would open many doors for further trade opportunities”, said Latif.

He said Al Heelam has proposed to the visitors logistical solutions to assist in allowing Malawian farmers and traders to export their products and allow it to be available and traded in the international market.

“Having a large fleet of trucks, warehousing facilities and trade offices both in Malawi, Tanzania and Dubai, we believe we would provide the delegation with tools to help them make their products available worldwide,” Latif said.

I totally agree with Chipundwe’s comment. My observations are as follows:
1- The delegation was from Ministry of Trade and MITP ,why was it lead by Minister of Information????
2- what happened in 2007 when the Minister was Hon P Kaliati is the same deal of Nyika -Vwaza Gate, I will expose what kick bucks the minister got.
3- the problem isn’t transport as Al Helaam representative said??????
