Dzuka Malawi: Church demos are mark of anti-christ

….Luke 6 verses 31 – 33 .. Do to others as you would have them do to you. If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do the same.…

I am waiting with horror the 6th of December, 2016 when scriptures from the bible will be fulfilled. When people hiding in sheep’s skin bring down the Church of God, the Body of Christ to the same level as earthly Kingdom- by demonstrating against sin, asking intervention from fellow human beings in Parliament and indirectly declaring that God is not capable of punishing sins.

No wonder fake prophets now abuse the name of Christ, spraying doom on Gods people, asking them to touch their private parts. Wrongly prediciting the winner of US elections. The devil or simply Anti-Christ is at work to destroy the church of Christ, by pretending to do his word.

Yes that is the meaning of demonstrations. You seek intervention from those with power to stop something. This time, only people we trusted to be Men and Women of God, will bring the whole body of Christ into the street and ask it to dance and submit to Parliament, an earthly, political and more sinful institution where slanders, non-believers, murderers, prostitutes, arbotionists, gays, corrupt and thieving politicians congregate. This can only be the mark of Anti-Christ, rejection of Christs powers.

I will not honour even discussing their earthly petition, I will talk of these people who want to disgrace the power of God, who promises in his word that he is God and capable of punishing all sins, he will Judge and he alone should be worshipped. Where did the members of Evangelical Association of Malawi get the notion that issues of Holy Spirit, righteousness and sin can be addressed in Parliament?

Unless among them are too many satanic worshippers, instead of preaching Christs love, they devise innocent meaning but hateful demontrations hiding behind sin of abortion and homosexuality as the cause of their demonstrations.

Really? Body of Christ wants a man-made Parliament rescue them and not go for national prayers, fast and preaching with all the power of Christ to intervene and bring sanity among Gods people.

Unfortunately the Bible prohibits me to Judge, but I can confidently say the rot reflected in our society is amplified by the same Men and Women of the devil who pretend to work for the body of Christ. They fornicate, abort and break marraiges, they cashgate church money without flinching, they impregnate school girls, they abuse young boys, they wine and dine with rulers for glory, they give fake prophecies stealing from the poor, they don’t even care for the widows, orphans or children born out of rape. They preach hate and visit witch doctors. They simply are not the best judges of sin.

While admitting their failure, let them not bring the Body of Christs into streets where drunkards and others might belittle the power and name of the Living God. God of Israel is God of Order, he does not ask his children to demonstrate and ask human rulers to stop sin. He is emphatic that he alone is the Alpha and Omega. Unless you are Anti-Christ, you can walk to Parliament and seek Gods intervention.

Finally, a sin is a sin, cahsgate, homosexuality, abortion, lying, gossip and not worshipping God is all a sin. I wonder why the two sexually related sins have attracted the Men and Women of Satan masquandering as Christians to seek human power. No NoNo, do not mislead Gods people, let us condemn every sin to measure and let us only pray to God.

Remember Christians are not of this world. We have been adopted as heirs of heaven by God Himself and that is our world, our citizenship (Titus 3:7). And in the meanwhile we wait (2 Corinthians 5:12), and we hope (Romans 5:5), and we do what we can to bring others into the “not of this world” relationship with Jesus Christ. But this world is not our home, and never will be. We cannot go to Parliament for salvation, that is demeaning the Body of Christ.

Pauls says of our duty as Christians:  Acts 26:18 – To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Faith in Christ means praying without stopping, not conducting earthly demonstrations and presenting petitions to Parliament. Where in the Bible do Prophets or Men and Women of God go and petition anybody or seek them to stop sin. They go and give Gods word in person and warning about consequences of sin.

The problem of having Anti-Christ characters is they seek to judge and bring the name of Jesus into ridicule as the demonstrations on 6th December, 2016 will portray God as weak and not capable. Whoever planned the demonstration was sent by the devil not Christ.

The things of this world, abortions, wars, famine, suffering, poverty, etc., impact Christians and non-Christians alike. By remembering that we are “not of this world,” remembering that these things are just for a little while, we can see them in a different light. We are still in this world but we are no longer of it (John 17:14). We are still surrounded by all the horrors and tragedy of this life, but this is not our life (Philippians 3:8-14). The knowledge that we are not of this world gives Christians hope even in the darkest times (1 Peter 1:6-9); hope that this will pass and at the end of it we will be in heaven with our God, face to face forever (Revelation 21:3-4). This cracked and broken place is not where we belong, and it is not where we will stay (1 Corinthians 3:12).

If you are a true believer, you only pray to God to do his will. You don’t walk to see a face of another human to stop sin. Jesus preached love, he never preached hate. He never asked us to condemn any human being.

For the last true believers remember we are not of this world but heaven, we are not to judge but follow what Apostle Paul tells us: Ephesians 6:11-18

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

(Rudo) first I question your faith- you quoted good verses with wrong application, The knowledge of God differs with the knowledge of the world, you can’t digest the Bible because you are a scholar, even Bible Scholars in some attempts have failed to do son because is an inspiration of God.

Am always surprised when people like you tend to be wise and teach people through the Bible which you can’t even apply in your Life and do the right things.

If you were wise, you would have just pray seeking God’s intervention that people shouldn’t go into the streets, God would have listen to you- rather than repeating the same you are calling it Mistake.

Proverbs 10:23 ” Fools takes pleassure in sin but the man with understanding delights in wisdom.

    Only Jesus removes foolishness.

  2. Thank you for peaceful demonstration but take note of this.Let God rule out of any evil spirit that is attack Malawi and its people because God punished SODOM and GOMOLA because people were practicing sin.
People of God wake up kneel down and pray.I believe all these things are done because of poverty, rich countries are taking an advantage to force people of Malawi follow noses.Malawi watch out let us b self decision makers

  3. Honeycomb says:

For once I totally disagree with you Rudo Tariro. It is right and proper for Christians to stand up and oppose when things are going wrong. Jesus came to show us the light. Why are you still living in darkness.

  4. Masozi Mwenifumbo says:

What matters most is to be led by the Holy Spirit in whatever we do, be it prayer, writing, teaching, marching, making and passing laws, governing, relationships, work, and in all things we think, speak, and plan to do. For example, when Jesus marched with the multitudes during His triumphal entry into Jerusalem, He was led by the Holy Spirit! May the good Lord lead us as we all endeavour to save our nation Malawi from the clutches of the evil one. May He lead us (our whole Spirits, Souls, and Body) into every battle and for the good of all! Do all things heartily as unto God, and not Man, and you will receive his good reward if you do well according to His Holy Word, as His Holy Spirit guides you! God bless you all.

  5. Banda says:

Great article with a philosophical argument which many bigoted people cannot understand. Women and girls have been aborting pregnancies without the bill, why haven’t churches stopped them. The bill is trying to provide safe abortion to women and girls and therefore churches should stop bringing doctrines and reciting verses. Churches are patriarchal institutions led by hypocritical and selfish men, most of them who are cruel at heart and who continue to ran away from pregnancies and who abandon children. There are so many children without fathers, some who don’t know their fathers at all and so many fathers who do not care that they fathered children – isn’t that the same even worse than abortion? Children are living in poverty and dying needlessly because their fathers do not care! Women and girls need abortion so that like men, they can decide whether they want to have a child or not. Women and girls should have the right to make that same decision men make – walking away from pregnancy. Abortion will not only help prevent maternal death but will lower Malawi’s population and enable government provide education, health etc. The church should stop patronising people – churches DO NOT LOOK AFTER CHLDREN so they should Keep Out of the abortion debate. The demonstrations they have organised are at best useless! and PEOPLE SHOULD SHUN THEM.

  6. Qwerty says:

The church, as a constituent of legit citizens has every right to express its considered opinion and lobby policy makers. Moralizing legality is however a sliperly slope. For all intents and purposes, legality is positive and not normative. That is, it is socially constructed. In that sense, it is secular and traverses the plurality of world views and religious beliefs prevalent in a state. Further, Malawi is a liberal democracy and not a theocracy. Government’s principal role is to create conditions for orderly rule whilst balancing individual rights and popular sovereignty. Moralizing legality quickly descends into a debate over why one moral system should be privileged over others. So, it might probably be wise to leave to Ceaser what belongs to Ceaser!

  7. Trumpeter says:

The writer of this article has written it passionately based on the light he/she has on his christian journey and we can only excuse him/her on this basis for being in darkness still. The problem amongst the fold is that we do not yearn to know the truth even if it is plainly presented to us. What he/she has gotten totally wrong is where he/she insinuates that a demo can be a mark of the beast. Like it or not, the mark (sign) of the beast in Revelation 13:17 is Sunday worship which is a false sabbath set up by the beast. Verse 18 of the same chapter is not in the Bible by mistake when it says “Let him who hath understanding”. This is not about anybody’s feelings or views… It is about God and His truth! Grab a book called “The Great Controversy” and the biblical truth just flows out amazingly. God bless the soul that earnestly seeks to know the truth out there.

  8. ANALYST says:

Nonsensical article! I am 100% percent sure the one who wrote this useless piece is a Seventh Day Adventist or a Jehova’s Witness member! These are useless sects of Christianity who “distance” themselves from issues of government and governance! Thats why Kamuzu condemned them and called them “The Devil’s Witnesses”! How does one become Anti-Christ by demonstrating against that which is evil? Listen to Kamuzu’s speech against these on youtube on this link

  9. The Analyst says:

When I saw the title of the article, I expected/thought that you (Rudo) would logically argue how these demonstrations are a mark of the anti-Christ. But I can promise you that you have miserably failed to do it.
. . . Notwithstanding your failure to argue your title, when the Parliamentarians supported and passed the Bill, did you take the trouble to call them anti-Christ?
. . . What then might have motivated you to call those people who are against the bill as anti-Christ? Cant you see that you are not making any kilobyte of sense here?
. . . Mwina tikuyambira kutali, between you Rudo (who sees but is neutral and thus does nothing about sin) and the religious body (that wants to demonstrate against sin), who is the anti-Christ?
. . . And are you being honest with yourself and practical with your thoughts when you suggest that the best thing these religious men can do is pray, so that God should intervene? Is this how God works, anyway? Who doesn’t know that God uses men to reprimand evil? Haven’t you read about Cyrus in (Isaiah 44:23-45:8) and about Joshua (where even the sun was stopped from setting)?
. . . Now listen: It is through men/women that God works.
You see, if you care to not have a narrow view on religion/spiritual matters, you would realise that Muslims are told that they are duty-bound to do something about sin/injustice.
    . . . with their tongue (by speaking against it);
. . . with their hand (by force, even it means fighting),
. . . or they should do nothing. But they (Muslims) are quickly reminded that if they choose to do nothing, it shows weakness of faith.
. . . All I can ask each of us (who feels that the bill is wrong/stands at variance with the will of God); is to join these religious men. Otherwise, “If you are neutral in a situation of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.” – Desmond Tutu. Sadly, “The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in times of great moral crisis, choose to be neutral.” – Dante Alighieri

    1. peter says:

I agree with you the analyst. Rudo has failed to put across real points to substantiate his arguments.

  10. James says:

Prayer for you my brother: Jesus comfort all your servants if any that have been labelled fake by this brother to avoid uttering words that will destroy his life. Jesus, serve this brother from worshiping money. I pray that you give him a good Job that will give him peace of mind and freedom to warship you. He is a our brother, you need him too.

Advise to the true men of God labelled fake in this article: Please believe in God, don’t ever ever open ur mouths to rebuke any person talking ill abut you. You are there to pray for healing and deliverance for salvation of souls. Your reward is in heaven

My brother, The Author of this article, Please believe in this prayer, you will testify and we shall admire your testimony very soon. God Bless you

  11. Bush doctor says:

I like the new definition of Parliament “a sinful institution where slanders, non-believers, murderers, prostitutes, arbotionists, gays, corrupt and thieving politicians congregate”

  12. Mbereka says:

The devil can cite scripture for his purpose

  13. stupid useless article

  14. A Thin says:

All these thing coming about to be legalised are not new, they also happened when Lot was staying in Sodom and when the engels came to Lot’s house people wanted to deal with them(mathanyually) but the only thing was to take Lot out of Sodom, no wonder if the church organising it self to opposed sin it’s because they don’t want Jesus to come and take them home and enjoying the fruits of this wicked world.

  15. Phanuel says:

Very good and sensible article I have read in zillion years!!! Thank you Dzuka Malawi.

We serve the Living God and it is all against logic for Christians to march and present a petition of a sin problem to our parliament for a solution. The sin problem needs God our Savior, and not a member of parliament to come up with laws to regulate it. For those who are Christians (and I dare say, even those who are Moslems), the moral campus is clearly the Bible (and the Quran for our Moslem friends). It is already written out and very clear. When did the MP become our moral standpoint?

When Jews faced extermination in the days of Artaxerxes (the story in the Book of Esther), the Jews prayed and fasted seeking God to intervene. They did not demonstrate against the decree issued by parliament through the influence of Prime Minister Haman. They cried to God and God gave them a solution to their problem.

When we have a sin problem in society, let us pray and fast (as Jews did in the Persian Empire) and leave our Living God to take charge as the arbiter of all humans. We can not fight God’s battles but we can leave our petitions in the hope that He will do what we request Him in prayer just like He did for Jews who faced extermination in the Persian Empire.

    1. Johnny says:

Phanuel, you have quoted a story of Esther, that is very good. But read Daniel 3 (I guess you know this story very well). When Nebuchadnezzar made a decree that everyone should bow down to the idol, we don’t see Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego ‘praying or fasting’. He made their point clear to the king and everyone by not bowing down to the idol. In our days, they could have taken placards written ‘WE SHALL NOT BOW DOWN TO OTHER gods BUT JEHOVAH’

Jesus said in Matthew 5 at no one light up a candle and hid it under a basket but put it on the candlestick. I 100% support the stand of the Church to make it clear to the Nation that WE STAND AGAINST LEGALISING THESE LAWS. We are always on our knees PRAYING FOR OUR NATION.

  16. Johnny says:

I believe the writer of this article does understand the role of the Church. We are not of the ‘WORLD’ yes but we are in this WORLD. These laws are made to govern us here on earth not in heaven and they affect us all HERE!

Sin does not exalt a Nation (Proverbs 14:34). We cannot sit down and celebrate as these sinful acts become laws of our nation.

And let me correct the writer that these are NOT demostrations as per say but a MARCH FOR LIFE AND FAMILY.

The march is a public celebration, defence and reaffirmation of the following truths and facts about life and family as enshrined in our laws, culture, beliefs and value system as a nation:
    1. Life begins at conception.
    2. Life is sacred and must be safeguarded with extreme care from conception.
    3. Life must be preserved and protected from conception.
    4. Sex and marriage is naturally between man and woman.
    5. Man and woman union is the naturally ideal and complete basic unit of a society.

    1. Charlie Hebdo says:

Reading the article and the subsequent comments my take is that neither side of the debate is wrong.
      (1) Would a woman have an undesirable pregnancy necessitating abortion without fornication? The answer is no. Does the church encourage fornication? The answer again is no. Can we say the church is living up to its billing if it is failing to control its members from getting unwanted pregnancies? The answer is no again. You see, it is the role of the church to preach against fornication. The success of the church at this stage means there would be no unplanned pregnancies and the need for abortion would therefore not arise. The church should therefore accept it has failed at this stage. The problem with our churches these days is that they spend so much time preaching about prosperity, about earthly riches forgetting serious ills in our midst such as fornication which is resulting in countless unwanted pregnancies.
      (2) As Christians, life is sacred and no one has a right to take life. The Bible says thou shall not kill. But we wouldn’t be talking of abortion if one didn’t get pregnant in the first place, would we?
We should also consider exceptions which in my opinion and indeed opinions of many others would warrant an abortion eg where the pregnancy is a product of rape, an insane woman falling pregnant, and where the pregnancy puts the life of the would be mother in danger.

  17. santana says:

Mr Mbewe saint, is that the only comment you can give? Can you try another one with facts?

    1. Mbewe Saint Victor says:

Santa, I pray that you understand God and the purpose of human in this world. The act of demonstrating entails praying 100 times to against abortion and receives life time indulgences

  18. Samatero says:

    Stupid article indeed. Watumidwa eti?

  19. Angozo says:

The writer of this article does not know the scripture. It does not mean when you mention the world BIBLE you know the Bible. The writer just knows about the Bible but in all fairness he does not know the BIBLE. He has just managed to expose his highest degree of ignorance of the BIBLE by bring in the notions of Ellen G. White which claim to know the truth but in essence bringing the word of God in disrepute. God does not contradict himself. What the writer should know is that man was created in God’s image but this does not mean man is equal to God. Man has been granted with wisdom which is neither equal to animals or any other creature on earth nor to angels in heaven. The angels just do what God tells them to do and man has been granted with an opportunity to think and act according to the teachings of God. I am not sure if animals have been granted with the same wisdom as man. In the same way if a man thinks like animals do (negating wisdom) we could equally equate him to an animal. The writer in this case does not belong to humanity, he belongs to animal world (don’t bring science into this discussion) that is not able to think and act according to the precepts of God. God says killing is a sin and abortion is killing the innocent, indefensible life that was sanctioned by God himself. The MPS are the ones being bulldozed by those that are using intelligence (and NOT WISDOM) into passing bill into law, essentially overriding the commandment of GOD not to kill. Yes, God performs wonders but do not forget that we are all in the world where satan is. Do you expect God to do everything for you. You also have to take part to shame the snares of the devil. Where and when does the notion of anti Christ come in in this situation? God had all the powers to send the Israelites back to Cannan if he so wished, but why did it take him to use Moses to lead them into the wilderness. God works through people who are able to think and act according to his precepts and not people like the write of this article. Remember in 1992 when Malawi rejected the one part system of governance. Was that not the work of God through man? Remember the open term limit of presidency, was thta not the work of God through the same parliament? There are several examples that could be cited here when God has used man to act according to his will and I do not think this is an exception. My only appeal to the writer is PLEASE KNOW THE BIBLE and not about the BIBLE.
May the good LORD guide you with the help of the Holly spirit to know the truth. Do not just memorise the verses but understand their meanings. It is not too late, you still have time to put to practice (with wisdom) the words you have memorised. Think carefully what you have been taught by your pastors and what God says.
    Have a wonderful day

  20. Mbewe Saint Victor says:

This is one of the stupidest religious article I have ever read. The writer does not know the duties of a christian in love advocacy. December is demo is about love advocacy in relation to the preservation and gift of life.

    1. James Kagwa says:

      James Kagwa

      1. patriot says:

I think many people do not do the role of the church in the society. Dzuka your article is just useles and misleading. We have to fight and set right where there is darkness.

    2. James Kagwa says:

I hate hypocrites called religious leaders and any buffoon who opposes abortion law reform based on Scriptures. Who gave the so-called religious leaders powers to be judging others? Why are men who don’t get pregnant including male chauvinistic churches which do not even allow women to be religious leaders be on the forefront of opposing law reform? Kufuna kuti azidya zachikhumi chochuluka? Why is it that all developed countries reformed their abortion laws and yet it is poor countries which are stuck with colonial laws? What is being independent if you can not form your own laws which can give women their reproductive rights? Why should we only legislate against sexuality of women? Let’s not be poor materially, intellectually and even spiritually? Why did Jesus said let anyone who has not committed sin be the first to stone the adulterous woman? Why did all the Pharisees like the ones who are planning marches run away. Indeed Dzuka Malawi, don’t be cheated by religious leaders who are getting millions from tithes of Christians who are wallowing in poverty. Inu kumakunamiza kuti ulemelero wanu uli kumwamba pamen iwo akudyelera pansi pompano. Reform Malawi’s Abortion law.

    3. Ujeni says:

If you indeed belonged to the world coming, you could understood the writings. This is a reminder to us the christian that ‘this is not our home’ and it demonstrates Love in its totallity.
