Dzuka Malawi: Church demos are mark of anti-christ

….Luke 6 verses 31 – 33 .. Do to others as you would have them do to you. If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do the same.…

I am waiting with horror the 6th of December, 2016 when scriptures from the bible will be fulfilled. When people hiding in sheep’s skin bring down the Church of God, the Body of Christ to the same level as earthly Kingdom- by demonstrating against sin, asking intervention from fellow human beings in Parliament and indirectly declaring that God is not capable of punishing sins.

No wonder fake prophets now abuse the name of Christ, spraying doom on Gods people, asking them to touch their private parts. Wrongly prediciting the winner of US elections. The devil or simply Anti-Christ is at work to destroy the church of Christ, by pretending to do his word.

Yes that is the meaning of demonstrations. You seek intervention from those with power to stop something. This time, only people we trusted to be Men and Women of God, will bring the whole body of Christ into the street and ask it to dance and submit to Parliament, an earthly, political and more sinful institution where slanders, non-believers, murderers, prostitutes, arbotionists, gays, corrupt and thieving politicians congregate. This can only be the mark of Anti-Christ, rejection of Christs powers.

I will not honour even discussing their earthly petition, I will talk of these people who want to disgrace the power of God, who promises in his word that he is God and capable of punishing all sins, he will Judge and he alone should be worshipped. Where did the members of Evangelical Association of Malawi get the notion that issues of Holy Spirit, righteousness and sin can be addressed in Parliament?

Unless among them are too many satanic worshippers, instead of preaching Christs love, they devise innocent meaning but hateful demontrations hiding behind sin of abortion and homosexuality as the cause of their demonstrations.

Really? Body of Christ wants a man-made Parliament rescue them and not go for national prayers, fast and preaching with all the power of Christ to intervene and bring sanity among Gods people.

Unfortunately the Bible prohibits me to Judge, but I can confidently say the rot reflected in our society is amplified by the same Men and Women of the devil who pretend to work for the body of Christ. They fornicate, abort and break marraiges, they cashgate church money without flinching, they impregnate school girls, they abuse young boys, they wine and dine with rulers for glory, they give fake prophecies stealing from the poor, they don’t even care for the widows, orphans or children born out of rape. They preach hate and visit witch doctors. They simply are not the best judges of sin.

While admitting their failure, let them not bring the Body of Christs into streets where drunkards and others might belittle the power and name of the Living God. God of Israel is God of Order, he does not ask his children to demonstrate and ask human rulers to stop sin. He is emphatic that he alone is the Alpha and Omega. Unless you are Anti-Christ, you can walk to Parliament and seek Gods intervention.

Finally, a sin is a sin, cahsgate, homosexuality, abortion, lying, gossip and not worshipping God is all a sin. I wonder why the two sexually related sins have attracted the Men and Women of Satan masquandering as Christians to seek human power. No NoNo, do not mislead Gods people, let us condemn every sin to measure and let us only pray to God.

Remember Christians are not of this world. We have been adopted as heirs of heaven by God Himself and that is our world, our citizenship (Titus 3:7). And in the meanwhile we wait (2 Corinthians 5:12), and we hope (Romans 5:5), and we do what we can to bring others into the “not of this world” relationship with Jesus Christ. But this world is not our home, and never will be. We cannot go to Parliament for salvation, that is demeaning the Body of Christ.

Pauls says of our duty as Christians:  Acts 26:18 – To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Faith in Christ means praying without stopping, not conducting earthly demonstrations and presenting petitions to Parliament. Where in the Bible do Prophets or Men and Women of God go and petition anybody or seek them to stop sin. They go and give Gods word in person and warning about consequences of sin.

The problem of having Anti-Christ characters is they seek to judge and bring the name of Jesus into ridicule as the demonstrations on 6th December, 2016 will portray God as weak and not capable. Whoever planned the demonstration was sent by the devil not Christ.

The things of this world, abortions, wars, famine, suffering, poverty, etc., impact Christians and non-Christians alike. By remembering that we are “not of this world,” remembering that these things are just for a little while, we can see them in a different light. We are still in this world but we are no longer of it (John 17:14). We are still surrounded by all the horrors and tragedy of this life, but this is not our life (Philippians 3:8-14). The knowledge that we are not of this world gives Christians hope even in the darkest times (1 Peter 1:6-9); hope that this will pass and at the end of it we will be in heaven with our God, face to face forever (Revelation 21:3-4). This cracked and broken place is not where we belong, and it is not where we will stay (1 Corinthians 3:12).

If you are a true believer, you only pray to God to do his will. You don’t walk to see a face of another human to stop sin. Jesus preached love, he never preached hate. He never asked us to condemn any human being.

For the last true believers remember we are not of this world but heaven, we are not to judge but follow what Apostle Paul tells us: Ephesians 6:11-18

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

(Rudo) first I question your faith- you quoted good verses with wrong application, The knowledge of God differs with the knowledge of the world, you can’t digest the Bible because you are a scholar, even Bible Scholars in some attempts have failed to do son because is an inspiration of God. Am always surprised when people like you tend to be wise and teach people through the Bible which you can’t even apply in your Life and do the right things. If you were wise, you would have just pray seeking God’s intervention that people shouldn’t go into the streets,… Read more »

For once I totally disagree with you Rudo Tariro. It is right and proper for Christians to stand up and oppose when things are going wrong. Jesus came to show us the light. Why are you still living in darkness.

What matters most is to be led by the Holy Spirit in whatever we do, be it prayer, writing, teaching, marching, making and passing laws, governing, relationships, work, and in all things we think, speak, and plan to do. For example, when Jesus marched with the multitudes during His triumphal entry into Jerusalem, He was led by the Holy Spirit! May the good Lord lead us as we all endeavour to save our nation Malawi from the clutches of the evil one. May He lead us (our whole Spirits, Souls, and Body) into every battle and for the good of… Read more »

Great article with a philosophical argument which many bigoted people cannot understand. Women and girls have been aborting pregnancies without the bill, why haven’t churches stopped them. The bill is trying to provide safe abortion to women and girls and therefore churches should stop bringing doctrines and reciting verses. Churches are patriarchal institutions led by hypocritical and selfish men, most of them who are cruel at heart and who continue to ran away from pregnancies and who abandon children. There are so many children without fathers, some who don’t know their fathers at all and so many fathers who do… Read more »

The church, as a constituent of legit citizens has every right to express its considered opinion and lobby policy makers. Moralizing legality is however a sliperly slope. For all intents and purposes, legality is positive and not normative. That is, it is socially constructed. In that sense, it is secular and traverses the plurality of world views and religious beliefs prevalent in a state. Further, Malawi is a liberal democracy and not a theocracy. Government’s principal role is to create conditions for orderly rule whilst balancing individual rights and popular sovereignty. Moralizing legality quickly descends into a debate over why… Read more »

The writer of this article has written it passionately based on the light he/she has on his christian journey and we can only excuse him/her on this basis for being in darkness still. The problem amongst the fold is that we do not yearn to know the truth even if it is plainly presented to us. What he/she has gotten totally wrong is where he/she insinuates that a demo can be a mark of the beast. Like it or not, the mark (sign) of the beast in Revelation 13:17 is Sunday worship which is a false sabbath set up by… Read more »

Nonsensical article! I am 100% percent sure the one who wrote this useless piece is a Seventh Day Adventist or a Jehova’s Witness member! These are useless sects of Christianity who “distance” themselves from issues of government and governance! Thats why Kamuzu condemned them and called them “The Devil’s Witnesses”! How does one become Anti-Christ by demonstrating against that which is evil? Listen to Kamuzu’s speech against these on youtube on this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQnWaL1g5So

O…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………O When I saw the title of the article, I expected/thought that you (Rudo) would logically argue how these demonstrations are a mark of the anti-Christ. But I can promise you that you have miserably failed to do it. . . . Notwithstanding your failure to argue your title, when the Parliamentarians supported and passed the Bill, did you take the trouble to call them anti-Christ? . . . What then might have motivated you to call those people who are against the bill as anti-Christ? Cant you see that you are not making any kilobyte of sense here? .… Read more »

I agree with you the analyst. Rudo has failed to put across real points to substantiate his arguments.
