Lucius Banda’s 15-15 album released
Malawi’s music icon, Lucius Banda marks 15 years in his music career and has released his 15th album titles 15-15.
“I am deeply moved with the overall presentation in the new album,” said the musician who singled out My Song 15-15 as a soothing song.
The tracks in the album include; Ndilankhuleni Ambuye, Never Alone, Mfumu Padziko, a Christmas song, Mbale wangwa ndi iwe, Wandichotsa Manyazi Natasha, Bambo wanga,Ndizdzakhala naye, Muzandikumbukira and Tawalolani a Yesu.
The other songs include; Ndalephela kupilira ine, Ndisiileni kanga,Musandiuze nsanje, Agone akome, Wanga Kheliwe and Chamwini.
Others are; Start gain please, Sean the worst, Broken heart, My Song 15-15 and Start Again (Dance version).
Banda launched his musical career in 1994, at the age of 23 with the Son of a Poor Man—which talked about his poverty-stricken childhood.
He has been in politics and served as a member of parliament until he recently announced his departure on the political stage to concentrate on his musical career.
According to vendors, 15-15 album was the leading tape and CD in sales during this period of Christmass accounting to 80 percent of slaes.
