Epac hold Bullets to frustrating draw: Malawi TNM Super League

Straight from last week victory over Red Lions, Bullets   were frustrated to fail to collect full points.

Playing with three strikers Tizgowere Kumwenda, former Epac FC duo Jafalie Chande and Mussa Manyenje, Bullets had several scoring opportunities in the first half but Epac fc goalkeeper Owen Chaima, denied his former team many would be goals.

Epac were dealt a severe blow when their striker who was causing trouble to Bullets defence, Ibrahim Sadick was withdrawn  after he was injured in an aerial combat with Bullets’
Douglas Chirambo just after 15 minutes of the first half .He was replaced my Mude Jeffrey ..

Bullets kept pushing for a goal but they frittered away a decent chance to put pressure on league leaders Moyale when they were held to a draw. Dropping two vital points.

Coach for Epac FC Audrey Makonyola was pleased with the draw and the creditable point.

“It has been a good result for us. I am content with a draw than a loss though we could have loved to win,” he said.

Bullets coach Elia Kananji was not pleased with the results but vowed his side would “fight until the end”.
