Escom demands at least K5m for Silver targets Chimodzi, Chapantha
Escom United are willing to sell two of its key players Young Chimodzi jnr and Spencer Chapantha – but will demand at least K5 million for them.
The electricians have written the Bankers never to use the two players unless they pay the fees.
Chimodzi, who has been pegged at K3 million went to Silver on loan while Chapantha joined the champions following his team’s ouster in the elite league.
Silver Strikers general secretary Mike Tembo confirmed that they have been requested the mentioned amount for the two players.
The Bankers are seeking for the services of Chapantha, who is the left back after the exit of Mustafa Salami to Kamas Barracks.
Earlier on, the Bankers were chasing for the signatures of Mighty Wanderers defenders Francis Mlimbika and Bungan Kaipa to beef up their defence.
However, the capital city giants are still struggling to rope in the two players as the Nomads weren’t willing to do business.
