EU, FAO bosses coming to Malawi: To hold talks with Pres. Banda

The Development Commissioner of the European Union (EU)  Andris Piebalgs and the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) José Graziano da Silva will visit Malawi from March 5 to March 7 2013.

During their visit, they will hold important high-level discussions with President Joyce Banda and other Government officials with a view of strengthening collaboration in various developmental areas.

The EU Development Commissioner and the FAO Director-General will also travel to various locations in the country to meet farmers and see the impact some of the projects are having on the beneficiaries.

They will conclude their visit to Malawi with a news conference on March 7 at Kamuzu International Airport, according to a media briefing.
