Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) deputy director Reyneck Matemba confirmed Odillo and two other former senior army officers are appearing in court on Thursday.

Odillo was arrested last year on allegations he sanctioned for the purchase of military equipment and paid for it but the equipment never arrived at the army barracks.

“We have concluded all the investigations on this 7 case file, this is why we are able to take him to court,” he said.

Matemba said it will be a speedy trial because the state is well prepared for the case.

What flies must one day land. This is Odilo’s hour to face the law. A sad ending to a glorious career. This is a lesson to many of us. Greed is not good.
