Faith Chibale became an endearing figure when she won the Malawi News Model of the Year beauty pageantry in 2004.

Her easy smile, humility and charity works ensued that she remained a hugely popular figure who rejuvenated the dying pageantry.

Her love affair with the Malawian public continued when she won the Miss Malawi crown the following year.

She remains the most popular holder of the crown to date and remains an inspiration to many young Malawian girls across the country.

After she relinquished her crown, she continued to be a popular figure on the Malawian social scene and has appeared at the face of several advertising campaigns, most notable the TNM Caller Tunes campaign.

However, the short-haired princess has lately been in the news for the “social woes”.

Recently, Malawian tabloid The Weekend Times reported that there was a scene at her house when two men clashed in the dead of the night. The reports were not confirmed.

Chibale is reported to be in relationship with singer of the moment, Piksy.

The former beauty queen could not confirm nor deny about Piksy affair, saying “ I choose to keep my private life to myself. It is definitely not for the media.”

Faith was born on 30 April 1989 in a family of 10 children, seven girls and three boys . She is  the last born.
