FA Malawi bans Mijiga, Yabwanya and Tia Somba
Fooball Association of Malawi (FAM) officials have banned three people who contested in last year’s top positions in the organization from participating in football activities in Malawi.
FAM general secretary Suzgo Nyirenda could neither confirm nor deny the story.
However credible sources at Fam told Nyasa Times that Wilkins Mijiga, Yabwanya and Tia Nsomba have been suspended from all football related activities as FAM president Walter Nyamilandu hits back at his critics and competitors.
“They have indeed been suspended, that is correct,” said one official who said he is yet to get details on the length of the suspension and why they have been suspended.
Mijiga, Yabwanya and Tia Nsomba obtained a court injunction against the holding of FAM elections last year alleging FAM did not provide a fair level ground for free and fair elections.
Later that day, the injunction was vacated, leading to resignations of senior FAM officials, Nyamilandu winning the elections and FIFA officials asking for stiff penalties for those who took football matters in courts of law.
Mijiga, Yabwanya and Nsomba said they have not yet received the decision in writing and would only comment after getting the FAM ruling.

That is the problem when the whole FAM president is busy working as a PRO or spokesperson of a dubious prophet instead of focus on his job.
I remember one time he even asked the took flames to this dubious prophet before a crucial game instead of training on the pitch, what were the results????
We will go to court to seek a ban on the overiding of Fifa’s consitution on Malawi’s.
We will go to court to seek a stop order for govt’s remittance of our taxes to Fam whose sole beneficiaries are Walter and Suzgo.
We demand a report on the activities of the Walter appointed ‘praise singers’ which includes seoid black.

Court is there for justice if people feels that they are oppressed in one or the other court is the only solution when all channels have exhausted.By the way what can stop them now from going to the same court of law to take injunction stopping malawi FA implementing their decisions.
