FA Malawi sends Mtawali, Mabedi for German coaching course

Football Association of Malawi (FAM) had send two assistant national team coaches Ernest Mtawali and Patrick Mabedi to Germany for an A level coaching course.

FAM chief executive officer Suzgo Nyirenda said the duo have been sent to Germany in line with the association’s plans to recruit them on a long-term basis after their probation in July.

“FAM would like to thank the German FA for continuing to provide training programmes for our coaches and it is our hope the knowledge they will gain will play a big role in improving the performance of the national team,” said Nyirenda as quoted by The Nation.

FAM has been sending coaches to Germany for similar courses.
