FA Malawi to hold AGM this weekend: To review auditor’s report
The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) will hold its Annual General Meeting on Saturday, January 12 at Malawi Sun Hotel in Blantyre.
According to FAM General Secretary Suzgo Nyirenda, the meeting consisting of 36 delegates from 12 Affiliates of FAM and the Executive Committee will receive a presentation of the activity report from 1 July, 2011 to 30 June, 2012.
“The meeting will review the financial and auditor’s report, progress report on the draft statutes and will also consider proposals and questions from the affiliate bodies,” Nyirenda said.
He added: “Before holding the AGM, FAM Executive Committee will hold a Consultative meeting with heads of the affiliates on Friday, January 11 where they are expected to give a brief presentation of their activities, achievements, challenges and areas that will require assistance.”
The meeting will also be attended by Malawi National Council of Sports, FAM’s lawyers and auditors.
